I don’t know if I’ve shared this with all of you yet, but Gabe had to have surgery a couple of months ago. The results came back and it wasn’t good. He has cancer. They removed as much as they could, but because of the location, they were not able to get it all. Two veterinarians did the surgery. Our personal vet is a bit more optimistic than the other doctor. The type of cancer he has is very slow growing, so we hope that he still has a lot of time yet, on this earth. I cannot even begin to bear the thought of being without him.
To help me “keep a part of him with me” Kavalis created a beautiful necklace for me, with Gabe’s actual paw print on it.

The process was simple. I just got out a piece of paper and an inkpad. I scanned the print and emailed it to Kavalis. Within days, it was in my mailbox. When I opened the package it smelled delightful. They had included a little organza bag filled with lavender. They also added a lovely note to me, which brought a tear to my eye.
I immediately put on the necklace and I don’t plan to take it off. I have Gabe next to me heart!
Under his paw print it says Gabriel My Angel With Paws. I am so very grateful for having the opportunity to receive this special piece of jewelry that is so near and dear to my heart…and will be cherished for the rest of my life.
