Elf on the Shelf Today and Looking Back
It’s that time of Year again…when those Blasted Elf on the Shelf postings begin.
Cookie arrived safe and sound.
Katelyn was thrilled. At first, she thought that Cookie hadn’t made it. She walked right past the package several times. Once she found and opened the box, she was so excited that she had to write a letter to Cookie. I bought the adorable “telegram” from a seller on on Etsy. It was only a buck. Now to put on my thinking cap and see what I can come up with for another 23 nights of mischief.
Sparkles came for a visit a few years back and got into a bag of mini marshmallows with Cookie. Thus the Marshmallow War of 2013 began. I’m older and way more tired now, so this year’s antics, I do believe, will be much more sedate! Unless of course, I have a night when I’ve had one too many Cokes and Chocolate. Then, ya never know what might happen.

I didn’t want to admit I didn’t know what elf on the shelf was…..now I do. I liked the non pc meme I read for xmas====wrap empty boxes and every time your child is bad, throw one in the fireplace…lol…so not PC!!
Oh my goodness, but this is fantastic! I love your marshmallow wars! I hope you found something exciting to do this last Christmas that you can share with us. I always cringe when I see Elf on a Shelf on Facebook, the memes are hysterical sometimes, but also creepy.
