Fall Stampin’ with Stampin’ Up

I’m a little late getting started with my seasonal cards, but I did want to share these with you.  These are so simple to make, and go together quickly.  I started with base cards which were made from one sheet of 8.5″ x 11″ Cajun Craze card stock.  I cut the sheet of card stock in half to create two pieces that are each 5.5″ x 8″.   I then scored them on the long side at 4 1/4″.

Next I cut two pieces that measure 5 1/4″ x 4 ” each from a piece of 8.5″ x 11″ Delightful Dijon card stock.

The last piece of paper that I used was a 8.8″ x 11″ piece of Whisper White card stock.  From it, I cut two pieces that were 5″ x 3.75″.

I stamped random leaves using the Vintage Leaves photopolymer stamp set.  I used Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Pear Pizazz, Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso and So Saffon ink pads.

To finish off my cards I used some retired Mossy Meadow ribbon, since I had it on hand.  I believe that  Pumpkin Pie 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon , Natural 5/8″ Chevron Ribbon or Early Espresso 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon would work beautifully in it’s place. Additional products used – Mini Glue Dots, Snail Adhesive,  2-Way Glue Pen, Clear Block D, Clear Block I and Stampin’ Trimmer.
