Tall Tails Review

I adore my four legged furbabies.  They are as much a part of our family as our kids and grand kids They bring such joy into our home. They are each unique and their personalities shine through.  My big boy, Gabe, is a Lab/Weimaraner Mix.  He is my Service Dog and has brought a great deal of independence into my life, along with a sense of security.  Gung Poe Wigglebutt is my little guy.  He’s a black Pug.  Both shower me with love, and I’m so blessed to have them in my life.

Gabe, our resident package inspector, checks out our Tall Tails dog bed.

My babies are were both rescues.

Gabe was sprung from a kill shelter in the small town of  Chanute Kansas. His rescuer (a dog trainer) knew that I was on waiting lists for a Service Dog, so she offered to train him for me.  Oh what a wonderful day it was, when I first met my new companion. We have developed a strong bond, and he has more than met any expectations that I had for a Service Dog.

Tall Tails
Gabe and Poe, my wonderful dogs…enjoying the beautiful weather out in our back yard.

Poe was found wandering the streets in our town, and was picked up by a friend of mine.  She searched high and low for his owners, but luck was on my side, and they were never found.  He is a comical little guy and just makes me smile every time I look at him.  He is a favorite of the grand children, and our grand daughter, Miss K, who lives with us, dotes on him constantly.  She cannot wait to get home from school to give him a hug.

Because my dogs are so special they deserve the best. Both Gabe and Poe are going to enjoy their Tall Tails dog bed.  It’s big enough for them both to sleep on at the same time.  I’m going to enjoy the bed because it’s well made and can go into the washing machine and the dryer.

It makes a difference to me when a company pays it forward, and Tall Tails does this.  I’m most moved by their donations of beds to military dogs.

Not only are my dogs going to enjoy a Tall Tails dog bed, but so is a very lucky dog of one of my readers… One person will receive a Tall Tails Dog Bed Classic Bet Pet (ARV $38.99) in the size of your choice .

  • We adopted Sparky, our black lab, 2 years ago from a neighbor who could no longer take care of him because of his job. When we adopted him, at about a year old, he never barked. Not when someone rang the doorbell, or walked into the house. He would just look at you like, “Hi, come on in!” After spending 12 hours with us, we “broke” him. He has no problems barking now. He is such a sweet, big mushy dog, but he doesn’t like the UPS delivery guy (doesn’t matter which one). Not sure what UPS ever did to Sparky but he barks like crazy and sometimes I’m afraid he will go through our front window! He is also very protective of our 2 legged kids! Our home is much happier since we adopted Sparky.

  • We don’t have a dog–we have a cat. 🙂 If I win, I’d give this to my mom’s pug, Odie. That dog is a scream…SO sweet and friendly and playful, and he loves my kids.

  • I don’t have a special dog in my life – I have five. All five are rescued Treeing Walker Coonhounds that are almost as much my children as the ones I gave birth to myself. Suki is 13 and I’m afraid won’t be around too much longer as her age and the health issues that go with it are taking their toll on her. Suki needs soft, comfortable beds to sleep on in her old age. The other four were adopted within about 1-1/2 years and are all in the 4-5 year old range. Ran is the smallest, and was born deaf; Kenji was one of 30+ dogs tied along the fence line of a man who was involved in illegal cock fighting – the dogs were his alarm system; Kyoko was nearly starved to death and dumped in a kill shelter and then the rescue that said they’d take her bailed so I adopted her – and now she’s chubby and is on a diet: Seiji was on his last hour in a high-kill shelter in NC that had put down a second dog I was considering just one day before, so I had to adopt him – he has other breed(s0 in him but is mostly Coonhound. Oh, and we have three cats…..all as much my babies as the dogs.

  • I would love to have this bed for my dog Bear. He/s almost 8 years old and has been the most loyal, loving animal you could imagine. I will always remember him waiting every single week day in the driveway for my sons’ bus, and when my son gets off Bears whole body wags.

  • The special dog in my life is a chocolate lab named Jasper. We’ve had him since he was a puppy and he is such a good dog! He loves to play — and eat. Mostly eat. He respects our cats tremendously — they know who is the boss, even though he outweighs them by 50 lbs!

  • We have 3 dogs and they are all special but the most special is the dog we rescued in West Virginia. We brought her all the way back to Michigan with us to be our dog but instead she fell in love with my mom. My mom and dad fell in love with her and borrowed her 4 years ago and never gave her back. It was a match made in heaven.

  • I have 2 babies but I have to say my 14 year old Velvet (Shi Tzu) is my fav. She loves to cuddle but only with me. She lays next to me all day. She only goes out when I let her out. She has dug out of the yard and when we find her she is always with an older lady and they let her sleep with them. Now they come and see her whenever that are near our house. She is the best dog I have ever had.

  • Artie is special because he is a former rescue dog that did not know any commands and was unfamiliar with living in a house. He loves to snuggle and go on adventures. Recently, he earned his Jr. Lure Coursing title. We are so proud of him and all he has accomplished.

  • We have 12 total fur babies in our home. All rescues, 9 cats and 3 dogs. Our last rescue is Frankie who I found running on US1 in Deep South Miami-Dade County. He is a white west highland terrier, who my daughter immediately claimed as hers. He is a companion to her, but sneaks in loving on me too! He is helping her combat her anxiety/depression, she’s having a tough go of it starting middle school and being a tween.
