Summer Blog Challenge – 7/9

Going Green with the Grizls

What are some of your biggest pet peeves?

Oh dear, I’m almost afraid to post for this prompt.  I don’t like be controversial.  I don’t like starting a writing riot. So, I think that I will stick to something that won’t give cause for hysteria.

I CAN”T STAND LABELS LEFT ON ITEMS!

NO labels on wastebaskets, or laundry baskets, or books, or appliances.

Chances are, if I visit your home and see a label left on something, I will try my darnedest to remove it.

This ins’t so much as a pet peeve, but maybe  compulsiveness?

I have label OCD!

  • My husband loves to leave cupboard doors open. I have to close them or it drives me nuts.

  • One of my biggest pet peeves is people misusing your/you’re,there/their/they’re,etc… I also agree with Tim,people driving slowly, especially if they’re in the “fast lane”. And people not using their blinker! Driving in the bike lane, following me too closely…I have a lot of driving pet peeves.:P

  • I also agree. If someone is in the fast lane why is he/she driving slowly and not using a blinker drives me nuts!

  • My biggest pet peeve is when my roommate puts a dirty diaper in the trash in the house. I repeatedly tell her that the dumpster is only 100 feet from the house and to bag them and throw them in there, but apparently that is too far for her to walk.

  • We drink a lot of sweet tea in our family, which I make almost everyday. Both my hubby and son put the empty pitcher back in the fridge. Drives me crazy! 🙂

  • Mine is people biting their nails and then touching stuff. Or, when people cough into their hands. I am such a germophobe.
