The days are getting cooler and shorter. The holiday season is upon us. During this time we are active and in lots of activities and we often see family and friends more often. Our homes are open for parties and get togethers. When I think of the holidays, sweets always come to mind and Sweetworks makes entertaining so much more fun, colorful and tasty!
Even those who are not experienced food stylists can easily create a marvelous display of goodies to greet their guests.
With #SweetworksAutumn candies at the ready, your friends and family will be delighted when they arrive at your home. I recently received a huge box of goodies from Sweetworks, and I’d like to show you how I’ve used them to create just the right mood for when my company shows up at my door. It was so simple and easy to do.
Gather up an assortment of dishes, baskets and signs of the season. These may be items that you have on hand, or you can pick up an assortment of inexpensive items at discount, thrift and dollar stores, for very little money (and be sure to check out weekend garage sales – others junk and become your treasures!). Use fabric leaves and flowers in the colors of Autumn. Candles of all shapes and sizes, vases and jars. These don’t have to be fancy, by any means. Let the candy be the star of the show!
Use Sweetworks candies in your holiday baking – in recipes and as decorations on cakes, cupcakes, and cookies!

We would like to have the Autumn Mix Pearls so we can use them to do pumpkins and turkeys with the grandkids. I know they are going to love it. I think working with candy will be harder because they will be eating it all.

I’d add glass mugs full of the different flavors of ovation sticks to my coffee bar (I’ve been drinking cold brewed coffee, but it’s time to switch back to the hot stuff now!). I would also add some shallow dishes of foil covered chocolates (orange and black foil of course!) to the coffee bar station.
I love the Autumn Pearl Sixlets and the Ovation Sticks, plus the Ovation® Milk Pumpkin Spice Break-A-Part- I’d make something really cute with these!

Use sixlets for cupcakes & cookies for my toddler grands for them to decorate. So many of the bakery size candy is too hard for the grands to eat. These are perfect.
We really love using Sixlets on our cupcakes and we keep them displayed in small jars. I would love to use the Halloween Mix Sixlets for my Halloween cupcakes.
