TheTwo Beans Etsy Shop – Review & Giveaway

 I was thrilled when I got my package in the mail!
The Two Beans sent me a copper pet tag.
This is the FIRST item that I’ve received
for my soon (I HOPE) to be, Service Dog.
The tag is just beautiful.
The disk says “Service Dog” and there is a little dog paw print below the lettering.
There is a phone number listed underneath the paw print.
The second disk has another phone number on it.
I wanted to post a close up of the tag, but I really didn’t
want my home and cell number published for the world to see.
The ring to attach to the collar is very sturdy,
and I could not be happier with the quality of the piece.
And isn’t the box adorable?

I asked Anne to tell me a little about herself and her shop.
Here is what she told me…

My name is Anne Cutter, the creator of "The Two Beans".  I've lived in Florida 
for the past 19 years but was born and raised in the northeast.  Just over a 
year ago my partner who is extremely creative learned about Etsy and decided to 
open a shop.  I really didn't pay much attention to it at first. After a while 
all I kept hearing about is Etsy this and Etsy that, so finally one day I 
starting looking around at some shops.  When I saw the hand stamped jewelry I 
thought WOW, that is so cool.  Next thing I knew I was a woman obsessed and 
wanted to learn everything I possibly could about hand stamped jewelry.  I spent 
countless hours on the internet searching and watching every online class that I 
could find.  Then came the task of finding the supplies and tools needed and 
then practicing.  I still laugh at some of my early pieces, how far I have come.  
This past year has been so much fun for me, I just love creating personalized 
jewelry and pet tags for folks.  I have worked i
 n the medical field for the past 15 years and now I find it hard going to work 
at the hospital everyday only because I want to stay home and CREATE!  

The most important tip I can give about hand stamping or really any type of 
jewelry making is to invest in high quality tools.  I know at first that is very 
hard but in the long run it's going to make your jewelry making faster and save 
you from many headaches.  When making hand stamped jewelry if you make a mistake 
there is no erasing, that piece of metal is now garbage and you have to start 
all over again.  This is a big motivation in getting good very quickly.  I only 
work with sterling silver and copper and most of my metal comes from New Mexico.  
I hand polish every raw piece of metal, then stamp the metal, next I oxidize the 
metal to darken the lettering and finally the piece is hand polished once again 
before being shipped out.  I've now started to incorporate some leather into my 
pieces and I just love the look of sterling silver and leather.  The most fun I 
have is coming up with ideas for new pieces and I have so many of them in my 
head, now I just the time to make 
 them all.  

I am very passionate about animals, have been my entire life.  My very first job 
at 15 years old was working at our local vet hospital, cleaning cages and 
walking dogs. I went on to becoming a vet assistant.  Eventually I went on to 
work for the Humane Society in Florida and became a cruelty investigator and a 
Animal Control Officer.  Yes I was going to save all the animals in the world.  
Even though I no longer work in this field, animals mean a lot to me and my 4 
dogs, Mouse, Savannah, Morgan & Logan are my children.
