THE THREADED GEM ADVENTURE

I really thought that this post would be easy peasy to write, but I’m finding it difficult to find just the right words that I want to use. You see, Malana is such a special and unique person that I want to do her, and her new book The Threaded Gem Adventure, justice.

I have known Malana for several years. We “met” when I reviewed her book Gringos in Paradise. Since that time, I feel that we have become dear friends with one another, and I so enjoy our chats on Skype. I have called upon her for advice on numerous occasions, and have always found comfort from her loving emails.
Even though we don’t share all of the same beliefs and philosophies, I know that she has the sweetest of “spirits” and is passionate about the health and well being of her family, friends and clients. I look forward to spending several weeks with her next year, when I go to her home for a “healing vacation“.
Now, for her newest book The Threaded Gem Adventure (How to connect the jewels in your life). I was honored to participate in this project, and had a wonderful time picking out the perfect “bead” to send to her. I love the idea so much, that I plan to do the same thing for my 60th birthday (sigh – which comes up in just a couple of years). Instead of actually reviewing her book on this post, I want to share with you, a video that she made. Please take the time to watch it all the way through, because her story is heartfelt and depicts Malana as she really is….enjoy!
You can purchase Malana’s new book The Threaded Gem Adventure, from Amazon.

She is very interesting. I love the explanation behind the beads. What a great idea!
Your link for your upcoming healing vacation doesn’t work, but I still found it online. 🙂
Hello Rosey, thank you so very much for your comment and interest. I loved the bead idea as well and it was a joy to make the necklace…a bit like planning the seating arrangements at a special party. I have since re-made the necklace. There were a number of beads and charms that arrived late. It was a hard thing for me to do since I hate to undo my own work. The photo of the new finished necklace is on my facebook page if you want to view it. Most comments are that it is prettier than the first.
Nice to meet you here. Any friend of Libby’s has to be a beautiful person.
