$150 Back- to- School Shopping Spree Giveaway

I’m from the olden days, when you brought in
$3 at the beginning of the school year
(which started AFTER Labor Day ,
not the first week in August)
and that was that.
You showed up each day with your lunch box,
or money for the cafeteria,
your homework and  a good attitude.

Not so anymore.
I honestly think that one year,
we had to re-mortgage the house,
to pay for back to school supplies and uniforms.
That year we had kids in K, 1st, 3rd, 6th,
 8th, 9th, and 10th grades.
(The two oldest were already out of school,
 we had a couple of grand children,
and we hadn’t adopted our youngest.)
I don’t know what was worse…
 the cost, or the effort it took
to keep up with who had to have what?

Well – I can’t help with the shopping itself,
