Nutella Party

I was fortunate enough to be chosen to host
a Nutella Party!
I was thrilled because I am  HUGE Nutella fan.

Fun Fact: European families have enjoyed
Nutella hazelnut spread as a breakfast staple
on bread and toast for more than 40 years.
Nutella hazelnut spread became available
in the United States in the 1980’s.

In total, I think that I had 17 in attendance…
moms & children of a local homeschooling group.
We talked about the importance of healthy eating,
especially breakfast, and how Nutella can be
incorporated into a balanced breakfast.

Several of my guests, had never tried Nutella before,
but now, they are fans, just like me:-)
All of us moms, talked about using
Nutella hazelnut spread, in all kinds
of recipes…and the overall consensus
is that just about EVERYTHING
tastes better with a little Nutella!

Fun Facts: Nutella hazelnut spread does not contain
peanuts or peanut ingredients, nor does
the product come in contact with peanuts
during manufacturing.

(This is great for one family in the homeschooling
group, as one of the boys has a sever peanut allergy!)

Nutella hazelnut spread does not contain
any ingredients derived from gluten cereal;
wheat, barley rye, oats, or tritical.
It is also a Kosher product.

Nutella hazelnut spread does not contain
hydrogenated oil or trans fat, and is
very low in sodium…especially compared
to popular nut butters. Nutella spread contains
no artificial colors or preservatives.

Nutella was tried by all… on whole grain mini bagels,
English muffins, apple slices,
Cutie oranges, bananas, and with pretzel sticks.

Even Gabe got in on the fun:-)
Speaking of fun…

Fun Fact: Can you guess how many hazelnuts go into
one 13oz. jar of Nutella hazelnut spread?
There are more than 50 hazelnuts in one jar!

I was not compensated for this post…but Nutella did  provided me with the facts,
goodies for my guests, and a jar of Nutella to use at my party.
I love Nutella and have been eating it for years!
