"Laundry" Doesn't Have to be a Dirty Word #WhirlpoolWashsquad

 I’m the mother of 10 grown children and the grandmother of 19 growing grandchildren and believe me,

I KNOW ABOUT LAUNDRY.

I can do laundry blindfolded with one hand tied behind my back while hopping on one foot.

I and also tell you that:

“Laundry” doesn’t have to be a Dirty Word!

If you only knew how many loads of laundry that I have washed, dried and folded over the years.  All through my kid’s school years, there was at least one load of whites, one load of brights, one load of darks  and two loads of towels each and every day.  Twice a week there would be sheets, along with my things and The Man’s clothes.  Add in a load or two of baby items, the extra load of jeans and socks every now and then, and it adds up to a whole heck of a lot of laundry!!!  How did I keep up with it all? One load at a time:-)

I actually enjoy doing laundry.  There is something soothing about the gentle “whhrrrr” of the washing machine and dryer running.  The smell of fresh laundry warm from the dryer.  The crispness of clean sheets and the softness of dry towels.  The only thing that drove me nuts, was the mystery of the lost sock from each load of clothes.  If I had a nickle for every missing sock from the last 40 years of marriage, my husband could retire and we could move to a tropical island and live quite comfortably for the rest of our days.

Let me introduce you to Thelma and Louise…they reign terror over ground in dirt!
