BRAVO – There are Good Kids and Good Parents in this World
Oh yes – Bravo – There are Good Kids and Good Parents in this world, and this is proof. I applaud you Ethan Metzger and I applaud you, Ethan’s parents.
This made my day.
Begin S L O W Clap!
We so desperately need more brainwashing like this. Our kids need to learn respect by example. They need to know right from wrong – the basics, that are rapidly becoming so foreign to so many. Our schools spend so much time shoving “pat yourself on the back”, that they’ve forgotten to instill any work ethic at all.

What has happened to The Golden Rule?
Parents, stand up and take some responsibility. Stop being your kid’s “friends” and start being their parents. Learn to say NO. Learn to discipline. (And note that I didn’t say punish – I said discipline). Lead by a righteous example. Set limits. Love your kids with all your hearts instead of being bleeding hearts. Let your children know that you love them, by guiding them and directing them. Show them that you make mistakes and that you are accountable for those mistakes, and that you do everything in your power to right your wrongs.
Husbands, love your wives and show them respect. Wives, love your husbands and follow them when they are in the right, and when they are in the wrong, lead them back on the right path with kindness. Turn off the TV and open a book. Eat together. Play together. Pray for guidance.
Tough Love isn’t harsh. Tough Love is the kindest of all.
Life is tough. Parenting is tough. Growing up is tough…so Love needs to be tough too. It needs to be so tough that it can’t be broken.
BRAINWASH YOUR KIDS!
BRAVO – There are Good Kids and Good Parents in this World
I love that you said learn to be say no. Too many parents are trying to be their kid’s “friends”. There will be plenty of time for that in the adult years. Instead they don’t want their kids to be “mad” at them. Well boo hoo! Its your job to grow little human beings into respectable people and it takes work!
That is one awesome kid right there, who has obviously been taught very well.
