Giveaway – Pruning Shrubs with "Your Personal Gardener"
I had never pruned anything in my entire life.
I had no idea what to do!
So, I was thrilled to receive a copy of
Pruning Shrubs with Your Personal Gardner.
In her DVD, Carol Chernega,
makes the process very easy.
Her explanations, and demonstrations,
are simple, and concise.
I loved that there were many “before” and “after”
photos, not just at the time of pruning,
but in some cases, months later.
but in some cases, months later.
I couldn’t wait to head outside and start pruning.
I only have 2 trees and some shrubs,
on one side of the house.
on one side of the house.
My husband had already lopped off the shrubs
months ago, but I was able to try my hands
on our two small Crepe Myrtle trees.
I am SO MAD that I didn’t take any
“before” photos, because the difference is
nothing short of amazing.
I felt confident enough to really work on those
them, and honestly, it’s as if they are 2 new trees!
Now, I’m itching to get my hands on something else
to prune. I am seriously thinking about sneaking
over to a neighbors house, and pruning her trees
in the middle of the night. She has three that
are just pleading for a haircut.
If I get the nerve to do it, I’ll be sure to get
some pics, so that you can see my handy work!

What needs pruning in my yard? Everything!
Come on over to my yeard. I'll let you take before pictures and then prune to your heart's content. 😉 scrussell at juno dot com
I'll keep the list short because on two acres of specimen and fruit trees, there is no end to pruning. This year I think that both apple trees and the pears trees should be pruned.
We have several bushes that really need pruning! My husband go out there every year and attempt to do it but we really have no idea what we are doing!! This would be great to have so we could get some useful tips!

Thank you for the giveaway! I'm a newbie to the pruning myself. I have several out of control rosebushes and some shrubs that need a haircut.
