My Mothers Day and Birthday Wish List

I know that one of my kids (out of 10) reads my blog on a regular basis (thank you Suzie Q), so I thought I’d post my Mothers Day and Birthday Wish List, and see what happens!

Mom's Wish List

First, I have to tell ya, I fought Mother’s Day for the longest time.  I always told my kids that I would rather have them treat me with kindness and respect all year long and skip the cards and gifts on Mother’s Day.  Now that they’re all grown, I’m thinkn’ ” Shoot, let ’em spend a few bucks on their dear old mom“. It’s not as if  I’m gonna be around forever, and I wouldn’t want them to spend the rest of their lives feeling guilty that they didn’t do their best by me.

As always, I’m just looking our for their  welfare!

As far a birthdays go…I’m getting up there in years, and I’ve gotta rake in the loot before it’s too late!

So, here ya go my dears…my wish list, cause if you’re gonna get me something, ya might as well get me something

I REALLY REALLY WANT!

Clearly Besotted Collage
This duo is from Clearly Besotted – You can get them from Simon Says Stamp (www.simonsaysstamp.com) but, like the tiny stars stamp, these two are out of stock, boo-hoo.

Maybe you can find them on eBay or Craig’s List?

I always need paper – LOTS AND LOTS OF PAPER.

For use with my Spectrum Noir Pens, I need  Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock .  You can order from Crafters Companion (http://www.crafterscompanion.com) – 200 sheets is $59.95.  You could shop around and maybe find 90lb. or 100lb. white cardstock from another source. Speaking of Crafter’s Companion, they have a great Acrylic Block Starter Set.  It’s doesn’t have as many blocks as the Stampin’ Up set, but it is a lot cheaper – just $18.99.  Combined with the Add On Set – $16.99 the total comes to $35.98…not too bad- right? Ooooh – and a couple of packages of Sponge Daubers would be cool.  Bottles of Tim Holtz Distress Ink Refills would be nice.  I have ink pads in the following colors:

Black Soot / Peeled Paint / Broken China / Vintage Photo / Peacock Feathers / Victorian Velvet / Barn Door / Antique Linen / Walnut Stain

Something else that I use a lot of is adhesives – MIRACLE TAPE – to be precise.  I purchase rolls from Viva LasVega Stamps (http://www.vlvstamps.com) and type in Miracle Tape in the search bar.  I use 1/8th inch and 3/8th inch sizes the most.

There are some retired sets of Stampin’ Up stamps that I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have.  Again, these can probably be found on eBay or on Craig’s List.  The sets are:

Tags Till Christmas, Lovely As a Tree and Countryside  – these will probably be used sets, but that’s ok by me.

Guess what – I found the Lawn Fawn Lucky Stars Stamp on Amazon!

Alrighty then – this gives you loads of things to choose from.

If you DON’T get me anything remember this:

Guilty is a gift that keeps on giving!

PS – sorry about all the urls typed out in full – I’ve just switched to the newest version of WP and I can’t get the link function to work for me – bummer.

Disclaimer:  I have no affiliations with any of the companies listed.

  • Haha, direct the kids here, huh? Good idea, always better to know what you want than to get something random, right?

  • Haha! Mom, I’m glad I saw this before Mother’s Day. Your gift might be late, but it will come. 😉 Only in typical Neas fashion. Procrastination RULES! I love you, Mom!
