Pugpossessed / Etsy Shop Review and Giveaway
What about a gift for a puggy friend?
I opened my Etsy Shop in May of 2007. I got my first Pug, Chloe in January of 2003. As an “only pug child” I started having fun dressing her up. I found that the clothing items the stores carried did not fit Pugs, with their barrel chests. I spent a lot of time, altering store bought stuff to fit her! My mom started me out sewing when I was about 5. I had sewn for many years making quilts, baby bedding, wedding clothing, etc. I decided to start making my own Pug fashions and the rest is history! People that saw my stuff on my blog or at Pug events kept asking “do you sell online”? Etsy seemed the perfect outlet for starting out and staying small enough to continue to make one of a kind, and custom items.
I was also an art major in high school and college. I branched off with my paintings and added the artwork section to my shop in 2008. I tend to travel from project to project, so when I tire of painting, I sew and vice versa.
I have an entire room dedicated to my stuff. Actually 2 rooms! One is for sewing/crafting and the other painting. When I create I am MESSY!!! When I sew I tend to layout fabrics and decide on trim, edging and detail. Right now I have 7 dresses cut-out and ready to sew. I like to decide the “look” prior to sewing, but have been known to get different ideas as I go along. Many of my items are custom, so someone will contact me with an idea and I will create it. I am blessed to have the talent to envision and create! Although I usually paint on canvas or maple board, I paint on anything! I recently painted a Boston as a Bat on a metal tray and also Boston faces on a friends sneakers! I LOVE making people smile when they see my stuff. When I paint I tend to do a brief sketch and then go from there. My artwork lately has been more “cartoonish”, but I have done a couple of realistic paintings on commission.
I am passionate about Pugs and Pug Rescue! This passion has filled my life! I have met so many wonderful people, both in person and “on-line”. I am having a BLAST!!!!
as been very barkarific…

I had decided that I liked the last picture on the page of pug pictures, but I also like the one with the green background in your review. They actually look like Bruno, my niece's pug.
Thank you,
Christine

I love Punchy's dresses and ties for the doggies and everything else she makes. She has made my pugs Christmas dresses and I have bought several of her items from her etsy shop. They are just perfect. I don't think there's anything that Punchy can't do. I don't want to participate in the giveaway because I want someone who has not experienced Punchy's craft to win something. I just wanted to stop by and say Hello and enjoyed the article and let everyone know how great I think Punchy's work is.
We LOVE Punchy's shop! Harry already has the cutest Christmas tie from Punchy and LuLu has the prettiest little dress. I suppose if we won we would buy some PJs for LuLu and/or a set of ties for Harry.
We are such HUGE Punchy fans!! Lilo always looks so adorable in her dresses!! If we won, I would get Lilo the green/pink daisy print dress!! It is so darling!!!
I would get the shirt & ties for my two boys, Yoda & Brutus. I have seen the dresses on my friends pugs and they are just adorable!
Pugs & Kisses,
Yoda & Brutus
I love Punchy's work! I am a fellow Etsy-er who sells items for pooches and she and I are always lurking one another's shops. I'd love to GC so that I could buy a necktie collar for my latest rescue. My pug, JD, got a collar from Punchy a few months ago and I just rescued a second pug who could use a matching tie for all of the special occasions we have here.
Thanks for this awesome giveaway and blog post!
Our Mom just loves the sweet summery dresses with tulle added for fullness. We've seen pics of Punchy's creations on other lucky girls and think they are sooo pretty! This is a grrreat giveaway, thanks for doing it.
Grins and Kisses,

Whoops.. somehow I deleted my comment! 🙁
Ever since I saw the custom wedding attire she made for The Misadventures of Pug(s) & Bugg, I've been dying to order some for my upcoming date-yet-to be-determined wedding!
I love to dress my babies up for every holiday, so I would probably get either the ties for every holiday for my Boston Terrier boy, or for my two Pug girls (one is just a puppy!), I'd get two of the crocheted dresses. Or even a painting! Everything is so cute, I don't know what I would get!
Thanks for the contest! 🙂

Oh, I love all Punchy's work. It would be a difficult decision, but I think I would have to get my brother Sluggo the dress shirt and tie. He would look so handsome!
I'm a cat lover so I'd love to get any – or all – of the cat paintings!
