Summer Blog Challenge – Day 12

Worst injury you’ve had & how it happened.

I’ve had a number of SERIOUS medical emergencies/conditions, but not that many “injuries”.

A minor skull fracture from a car accident, a broken tail bone (twice), a few nasty cuts – but none that required stitches, so I guess that when I broke my foot 2 years ago, was the worst. I busted the medial sesamoid, and the promixmal , middle and distal phalanx of the second toe on my right foot. It took 18 months for the sasamoid to heal.  My toe will never be the same.  One of my daughters calls it me candy cane toe.  It makes it hard to wear close toed shoes, and or course, it always hurts:-(
