The very first thing i'd make with this new mixer if i won it would be..an anniversary cake for me and the hubby, we never had one before and its coming up in May!
Is what you wrote about days without sunshine being like night a quote? I love it. That's a good email signature quote. Can I use it? So many people would email me about it if I used it. I'd like to know who I'm quoting.
Anyway, thank you for the sweepstake. I can't make up my mind about what I'd prepare first. It depends on what's in my pantry at the time. However, if I knew it was on the way, I'd probably go nuts and buy tons of stuff at my favorite local grocery store. They have really fresh ruits and veggies- you know the kind of veggies that actually have flavor? I may borrow my Mom's recipe book. She'll help me pick out something special. It has to be easy to make though. I have a tendency to make a lot of mistakes when I'm in the kitchen.
Oh! I got it! I'll make my aunts cinnamon rolls. They are so perfect! She does everything by hand. Wouldn't that be cheating? Maybe I can figure out a way to talk her into letting me "borrow" the recipe. I may have to let her try out the mixer first though. I wonder what she'd think about coming over and teaching me how to make her cinnamon rolls -using my new mixer!! How fun! You've got me really thinking now…
