Such a great list of American History tours! St. Augustine, FL has tours as well, including a lot of ghost tours. My family goes there a lot.
I think Philadelphia would be the first one on my list because it’s closest to me out of all these places, but I would really like to do the Alcatraz trip as well.
I haven’t been to any of these places! The tours sound amazing; both informative and so interesting too. I would love to experience these.
The Alcatraz Island Day Trip is my top pick. This would be so interesting to see.
Planning to explore these with the kids—nothing beats learning history firsthand!
I really like histories in different countries or cities in this world because they really happened in real time. I want to try these tours soon if I can go to explore America.

Oh! Those are wonderful wonders! I plan on visiting them soon after Christmas maybe!
These are all fabulous spots to visit in the US….and you have to have a tour of Charleston SC on the list. That place is incredible and I miss it so much and it is filled with deep rich history!
I haven’t done any of these yet though have heard of them all before.. and sadly, not yet done the Alcatraz tour (I know., I know..) even after living here in the San Francisco bay area for years.. Way too many times that I have almost clicked the ‘buy tickets’ and then changed our plans for this specific one..
I love history! And it’s so important for our kids to learn it. Exploring it through tours is the best way!
I had been to America but I have never been on these tours, but they sound very much educative. May be next time I will, pinning it!

I had no idea that they gave tours at these locations. I’d love to visit Alcatraz and see what it was like being housed there. I’ve seen a few documentaries on it.
We are actually planning to take the Riverwalk tour in New Orleans in a few weeks. My parents are huge jazz fans so I think they’re going to enjoy this.
Sometimes when I don’t have enough time to plan, I go join tours to make things easier and those are wonderful selections to keep in mind
Reading about the history of a city inspires me to travel more and to learn more about what else I could see. thanks for sharing.
We did the tour of the Capitol in D.C. before and it was fascinating. I would love to do these tours. It’s always fun to learn more about history.
