I’m old…old as dirt and rocks and diamonds…
…Yeah DIAMONDS, so that’s not a bad thing, right? With age comes a few disadvantages. Needing reading glasses when you didn’t before, is one of them. It’s so strange. I’ve been near-sighted for as long as I can remember. I’m sure that I’ve been wearing glasses for the condition since I was in middle school – maybe earlier. So I go from not being able to see far away, to needing arms 4 feet long, to read a book. Say What? Life is weird sometimes!
I love to read, but I don’t like wearing glasses all the time, so I put them on, take them off, put them on, take them off, put them on, take them off…and I leave them EVERYWHERE… ooooops, And I can be a little bit (cough cough) hard on them too. So, I sure don’t want to spend a fortune on them, but I don’t want to look like an old granny either (even though I am one)! But, buying reader from a drugs store or department store isn’t for me. No matter how much I spend, they always make my eyes hurt after wearing them for just a few minutes, and then I get terrible headaches. Not to mention that old lady look!
