Happy Birthday To Me
Well, this is my last year before becoming an sexagenarian.
(Get your mind out of the gutter, it means being in your 60’s.)
So Happy Birthday to ME!
You have to know that there is something REALLY awesome when it comes in this bag!
What could it be?
Wanna see it?
It’s not beads…so what can it be?
They are Pandora Stack-able Rings.
I love all three of them, but I’m especially fond of the bamboo ring. I can wear it on its own or with any of my other rings (like the one that he got me for our 40th wedding anniversary last September). The other two stack nicely together, or can also be worn on their own or with other combinations. Oh, my husband does know me well.
LOL – was he ever surprised when I got them!!! I bought them for myself. I hit a great sale when we were in Florida a couple of weeks ago. Buy 2 get one free. My BFF (and yes us old broads have BFF’s just like younger women and girls do), her sister and a long time friend of theirs, had a girls night out. We went to dinner at the Columbia, and then went next door to shop at a boutique.
Today will be spent at home – crafting with some of my new STAMPIN’ UP! goodies that arrived in the mail yesterday, writing, and watching a few shows on Netflix. We will probably go out on Friday of Saturday. Maybe to Texas De Brazil or Carrabbas. Whatever we do, it will be fine with me. Just spending time together is a gift in itself.
So, Happy Birthday to Me!
What would you like for your birthday this year?
Happy Birthday Libby. I’m already a sexagenarian. But if those are your hands in the picture then you’ve a long way to go to be a sexagenarian. lol They look like very young hands. 🙂
Have a great day and Congrats on 40 years with the hubby.
Carol L.
Happy Birthday Libby!
Oh I love it!!! I love birthday parents for myself! So pretty!! Happy Birthday!
Why thank you Carol! Those are my hands, and I’ll tell you my secret. For years and years, I’ve been using the Satin Hands® Pampering Sets from Mary Kay. My mother-in-law gets some for me every year for Christmas and my birthday. The stuff is wonderful!!!
Happy Birthday that’s so nice have a great one
I’ll be turning 38 this year and I just want a birthday where I won’t feel like I’m being forced to celebrate. I like to treat it like any other day, just with cake and ice cream….
I like the silver with pearl. Very lovely! My dad gave me a silver ring with a pearl, and it’s very dear to my heart.
This year for my birthday I’d like a thermal cooker – the kind where you get something boiling, put it in the cooker, and it acts as a non-electric crock pot – the food keeps cooking and is done in a few hours. That way when I’m on a long road trip with a potluck at the end (you’d be surprised how often this happens in my life), I can bring real food instead of something I scrounged up at the last second in a grocery deli. Good for camping, too. Anyhow, that’s me.
