My One Word for 2013
I’m joining Melanie at Only A Breath, in this years One Word.
Due to many factors in my life, I’ve chosen HEALTHY for 2013.
This is a daunting word for me, as I’ve really let this aspect of my life, slide down a very very deep and slippery slope. I have so many medical issues, and without living a healthier life, these issues are going to drag me down, until I can’t get up.
I have taken the first step, and had a long talk with my FNP-BC on Monday morning. She has been a great support to me, for several years now. We decided that I would join the local RXercise gym, where I will receive one on one instruction from exercise and physical therapists and nutritionist’s. My daughter, Suzanne, will help me through the first 6 weeks. Hopefully by the time she leaves, I’ll have a good handle on things.
I truly hope that I will be able to remember to post updates each month and link up at Only A Breath.
Have you chosen your One Word for 2013? If you plan to join us, please head over to Melanie’s Blog, and let me know, so that I can keep track of your year!
I want to thank Melanie for the basics of my button:-)
My One Word for 2013

I like to chooce HOPE
I wish you the best for 2013-great word choice.
I would also choose Healthy. Without our health, we really have nothing. Health is the most important thing in life. Everything else comes second. Thank You!

I like the word you chose and I hope it will work out. I choose exercise for my word
I like the word healthy. When I think of one word the first thing that pops into my head is SKINNY but I think I want to switch that out for your word, HEALTHY. I don’t have to be skinny to be healthy…I want to be healthy (and if skinny follows BONUS!)
I need this too. I really need to get fit and back to shape. 🙂 Living a healthy lifestyle is a must. 🙂
I know that God will change your world this year, with that Word. I look forward to reading your updates.
Alright, Mom, let ‘s do this!
My one word is Believe thanks
I too would also have to say healthier. As we get older we have more health issues to deal with. I recently had a stay in the hospital right before Christmas and it made me realize I need to focus on healthier eating and exercising more if I want to be here longer for my grand children.
My one word would be Happy. I am going to not let the little things in life get to me.
