Preparing For The New Year – Lets Get Organized – The Power of Moms
I’m always looking for ways to make my life more streamlined. Ways to organize myself and my home.
I have been so fortunate…
I’ve received The Power of Moms Mind Organization in 2 Weeks Program!
You all know that my kids are grown – so why am I so thrilled about this? BECAUSE – this program has helped me to get some much needed peace of mind, by giving me a system of organizing many aspects of my life. I’ve learned to:
- Control my email inbox.
- Take charge of the “paper” that comes into my life on a regular basis.
- Determine what my priorities are, and to put other things on the back burner.
- Organize my office space into a neat, compact, well oiled machine.
- Find balance, by doing all of the above.
Does this sound like something that you could use?
When I first found out about The Power of Moms Mind Organization, I asked the lovely ladies from The Power of Moms, if they thought that their program could help me. I explained to them about being the mom of grown children, and about my difficulty in keeping track of all the things that are so necessary – to efficiently run my home and my blog. I told them about my brain damage, and the challenges that I deal with, on a day to day basis. They assured me that YES – I could put the tools into use, and that my life could be simplified and more organized.
They were so right. On all counts. Due to the fact that it is much harder for me to grasp certain concepts and put new ideas into motion – it was decided that I would not get stressed over trying to work through the program in just 2 weeks, but would go at my own pace. Having said that, I think that if I hadn’t gone out of town, and then dealt with Hurricane Isaac, shortly after receiving the program information, I probably could have put it to work in the 2 week time frame.
The tools that they provide are powerful, detailed and exact. Oooh – does that sound a little scary? LOL – It’s not, really it isn’t. Just decide that you are going to put forth the effort (because it is soooooooo worth it), and follow the directions. SIMPLE! In my case I read through the program (I chose to print it out) 3 or 4 times, and then gathered together all the things that I would need. I checked off each thing as I followed through. I then somewhat customized my system (since I don’t have children in the home), to fit my circumstances.
Let me tell you – just learning the technique to keep my email inbox empty – yep you heard that right, EMPTY – has been absolutely fantastic! I went from having thousands of emails (which was so overwhelming each time I logged on), to having an empty inbox each evening. I can now easily find the emails that I need, which was a nightmare before. No more frantically trying to find a really important message, mixed in with chitchat, ads, memes, and everything else under the sun.
My house is neater – due to having a place for everything and everything in its place. I spend more time doing the things that I need to do, and want to do, because I’m not wasting time looking all over for the one piece of paper, that I can’t seem to put my finger one. And I am a LOT more relaxed and productive.
Want to see what else The Power of Moms has to offer? Just head on over to their site, and take a look around. It isn’t JUST a program – but a community of women who are striving to be the best that they can be…for themselves and for their families!
I received material from The Power of Moms at no cost to me, for the purpose of this review. I have stated my true opinions and outcomes, in this post!
Preparing For The New Year – Lets Get Organized – The Power of Moms
Amazing!! My inbox is getting fuller and fuller…time is not my friend. LOL
This could be so helpful around here! I’ve been working at home since 2008 (and with a kiddo since 2010) and still struggle to find a good balance!
That sounds like a great resource I could really use. Some days I feel like I’m a frazzled chicken with it’s head cut off still running around. lol. Thanks for sharing!
Oh my gosh, this is what I need! I’m so UN-organized it’s crazy.
I need to control my inbox too!
