Autumn at Albertsons – Stock Up Sale
Albertsons is know for it’s great sales…
…and this one is no exception. From September 30th through October 13th, shop at Albertsons and stock up on some of your favorite General Mills products.
Our local Albertsons was built about 3 years ago. The grand opening was highly anticipated by the residents of my town along with a few other surrounding communities. For the first 2 weeks, after the day that they opened their doors, they were so busy that police where on hand to direct traffic in and out of the parking lot. It was crazy, and I was one of those people that stood in line to take advantage of the fantastic grand opening sale prices.
Our Albertsons has continued to be popular.
I decided that I needed to take advantage of their current stock up sale. I filled my pantry shelves with some of my family’s favorites.
I love the cooler Fall weather. Now that the temperature is dropping some, we are switching from eating a lot of light meals, to more hearty ones. Soup is one of the first things that comes to mind when I think of Fall, so stocking up on Progresso Traditional Chicken Noodle Soup, was a given. Betty Crocker Hamburger Helper is another family favorite. It makes for a quick and easy meal that everyone enjoys.

I also got some Yoplait Strawberry Yogurt, which my husband likes, and some Yoplait Greek 100 Vanilla, which is my go to snack.

We don’t get a lot of children Trick or Treating in our neighborhood, so I can give out more than just candy to each of the little ones (and not so little ones), that come to my door. Since I had picked up several boxes of Nature Valley Crunchy Oats N Honey Granola Bars, I thought that I would come up with a special package to put them in.
It was super easy to make.
I just took a piece card stock that was cut at 11″ X 4 “, and I scored it on the long side at 5 3/4″and at 6 1/4”. Then I scored it on the short side at 1/2″ and at 3 1/2″
I cut up the lines in the photo shown below.
Now the little flaps made by the cuts are folded in and simply tape along the outer edges and fold together. I punched a couple of holes at the top, threaded in a piece of twine and tied a little bow. The leaves are stickers, but you could cut them out of construction paper or card stock, use real leaves or fabric leaves.
Nature Valley granola bars are versatile. You can eat them right out of the package, or add a little peanut butter of cream cheese (my favorite). Crumble them up and sprinkle over ice cream or use as the topping on apple or peach crisp/cobbler!
What other ways can you think of, to use Nature Valley Crunchy granola bars? What is your favorite General Mills product that is on sale at Albertsons?

Fun idea! We live in a neighborhood that doesn’t get much traffic too. I love the idea of giving a special little gift. #client
