Due to FTC…
The FTC continues to add more and more stipulations for bloggers.
I know, that you all know, that I post reviews of products that I receive at no cost. I know, that you all know, that I write posts, that are sponsored (in that I receive payment for the posts), AND I KNOW, THAT YOU ARE ALL INTELLIGENT PEOPLE!
But, the FTC has decided that it isn’t enough for me to state in my post the I received a product from a particular company, or to add a disclaimer at the end of my posts. I now must let my readers know from the very start, that a post is either a review of a product that I’ve received at no cost or at a discount…or that I have been paid for posting. So, I will be placing this photo:
Above and Below all posts that contain information about a product of company that has been given to me at no cost, or at a discount, or that is sponsored (as in a monetary payment). I am only human, so if I ever forget to place this photo into a sponsored post, it is simply due to human error.
Thank You
Does the FTC not have anything else to do?
They are really hassling bloggers.
I agree with Jayne Touensley! Really? I think they have a lot more important and litigate things they could be doing………………….
Do they do that to keep track of taxes maybe?
It is amazing to me how invasive the rules are – m=I think they probably expect to get money … it is always the taxes.
