The idea of feeding my dogs raw has always been a bit scary and daunting. And, to be perfectly honest, and most noteworthy…quite gross!  Maybe this is a result of watching too many wild animal documentaries that show the big cats and bush dingos, devouring a carcass.  But, after doing a lot or research and talking with representatives from Wellness®, the conclusion has been reached that there is a way to feed “raw” without hesitation! Enter Wellness® CORE® RawRev™

Wellness® CORE® RawRev™ is a brand new dog food offered by Wellness that allows pet owners to incorporate raw food easily and safely to every meal. High-protein, grain-free kibble is combined with 100% raw meat pieces to create a savory, nutrient-rich meal packed with everything that dogs need to thrive from the core. Welcome to the Raw Revolution!

Wellness® CORE® RawRev™
Nom Nom Nom…Gabriel and Gung Poe Wigglebutt taste tested, and gave their Paw of Approval!

Essentially:  Both furbabies and pet moms and dads get the best of both worlds.

First of all, dogs get the balanced nutrition that comes from high protein raw feeding. Secondly, meals are easy to prepare. Finally, pet parents will know that what they are feeding their pups, is safe and packed with what their pets need for whole-body health.

There were no problems transitioning, as it was done by replacing 1/3rd or the old food with 1/3rd of the new food.  Every 4 or 5 days, more new food was added and less of the old food was offered. As a result, they adapted quickly with no stomach upsets, and were, therefore, happy with their new menu!

My dogs all have very itchy skin and I can’t help but think that their diets are at least in part of the problem. I read about feeding dogs raw diets but was also concerned about doing so. This would be the perfect solution for giving them what they need for healthy skin w/o the worry of making them sick

Now, this is the kind of sale I can get excited about. I have three Treeing Walker Coonhounds and three cats (all rescues). Of course, my dogs are very big eaters, and we go through a lot of dog food. Anything that can save me money on the brand(s) I trust is a win for me!

  • Sounds heathier for my dogs who seem to be putting on weight from their regular dry food. Just wondering if the RAW food diet might alter their “potty” schedule. They are mostly indoor dogs and that could be a problem if hey have to go outside more often 🙂

Feeding raw sounds best for dogs but it’s more than we can afford. Our driving force is price as my husband is out of work. Our dogs have full tummies and lots of love though.
