I Think That I Might Have Missed Spring!
Here in the South,
we don’t have a change of seasons
like other places in the country do.
What we do have is:
Winter = Warm Days, Cool Days, a few Freakishly Cold Days,
(even snow once in a while)
Spring = Hot Days and Really Hot Days
Summer = HOT HOT HOT Days and Hurricanes
Fall = Hot Days and Warm Days
We went from a world of dead brown grass and plants,
(from those few freakishly cold days),
to green everything …when it became warm again,
to dead brown grass and plants
(from the HOT HOT HOT days),
in about 3 weeks time!
So, we must rotate around our calendars
instead of the weather:-)
Easter and Mother’s Day, have flown past
in a whirlwind, and now we are in the midst
of Graduations, June Weddings and New Baby
Announcements are showing up in our mail boxes,
and Father’s Day is right around the corner.
Don’t let those moments pass you by without,
making lasting memories of them.
