I had a close call with death when I was pregnant. One night we were driving down a country highway in the winter. We were going 100km/hr. Suddenly the car did a 360 degree turn. We had hit black ice. Everyone in the car was shaking after that. We were just lucky that no one had been in the other lane. Count me in. polo-puppy-fluffy(at)hotmail(dot)com

I've had a few close calls. The worst was when I was pregnant with my son and the nurse accidentally overdosed me on dilauded. It was a bad time.

An enormous pole fell in front of our car. It was heavy enough that if we'd just been a bit closer it could have smashed right through both occupied front seats.
