Well Beginnings – Quality Products without Brand Name Prices
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Well Beginnings.
I am delighted to be a part of the Well Beginnings campaign, so that I can let you know that you can buy quality products without paying brand name prices!
First let me state that I am a loyal Walgreens customer and even though this is a sponsored posting, ALL opinions stated are 100% MY OWN! As a mother of 10 grown children and the grandmother of 20 (with 2 more on the way) growing grandchildren, I know a little something about disposable diapers and baby wipes! If I had a nickle for every diaper I’ve changed over the last 39 years and every baby wipe that I’ve used…I would have a whole heck of a lot of nickles!
I was sent a package of Well Beginnings disposable diapers. These are size 4 diapers ( lbs.) and there were 31 diapers in the bag. The Well Beginnings Sensitive Wipes can in a package of 72. I was so excited because the arrival of the “dipes and wipes” would be just in time to use on my 2 year old grand daughter who would be coming for a visit. 🙁 Sad face…their tip had to be postponed, so I wouldn’t have a lovely little model for trial and demonstration purposes.
I had thought about maybe asking around to see if I could borrow a little bottom in need of diapering, but then I got to thinking that it might be viewed as a little creepy, so I’ve improvised. Necessity is, after all, the mother of invention.
So, what are the most important qualities that are needed in diapers and wipes?
Absorbency (without leakage) and comfort for baby!
.Diapers need to fit well, be comfortable on baby, and provide lots of absorbency without leakage! Wipes need to do the job that they are designed for and should not irritate sensitive skin. I must say, that Well Beginnings fit the bill.
1) The diapers are nice and soft both inside and out. The inner cover is “hypoallergenic” containing natural botanicals, vitamin E and aloe.
2) These diapers will hold a LOT without leaking!

I started out by pouring in 1/4 up a cup of water, I then added another 1/4 cup. Well there was still no leakage I added another 1/2 cup. I let the diaper sit for a couple of minutes then I pressed both the inside and the outside with a paper napkin. As you can see, they stayed completely dry on the outside and barely any moisture came away from the inside.

No leaks around the legs either!

3) Diapers need to fit snugly and be comfortable.
lots of stretch for active babies!

And let us not forget the wipes! I use baby wipes all the time. When I’m changing a baby the wipes need to be gentle on baby’s bottom, but strong enough to finish the job. Not having a baby tushy to clean, I used the wipes for my messes – you see I’m an avid crafter. I keep wipes at my desks (yes, I have more than one) at all times. I am in constant need of wiping glue and ink from my fingers. The Well Beginnings wipes did the job and didn’t irritate my skin. (Pssst – you know how sometimes “sensitive wipes” are often labeled as fragrance free, but they actually smell kind of rank? Well Beginnings have virtually no scent at all, and they are listed as hypoallergenic, alcohol free and dermatologist approved!
In the photo below you can see a Well Beginnings wipe along side of a name brand wipe. Both were used to remove ink from a cling stamp. Both worked well, so why pay more!

A cute little elephant adorn the front and the back of the diaper, so that inexperienced hands can tell the front from the back.
so that you can easily tell the front and back of diaper.

I have used Walgreens brand products for years and will now add their Well Beginnings diapers and wipes to the list of trusted items!

I think Walgreen’s has really nice products. I love your creativity in “trying out” the diapers.
