Big Sound Small Price: Google Chromecast Audio

They same that great things come in small packages.  This is certainly true for the Google Chromecast Audio!

Play music on your speakers, new or old, wirelessly from your phone, laptop or tablet.  Google Chromecast Audio is great for keeping your stereo system alive and future proof. With a quick and simple setup (so easy that even I can do it on my own), you gain the ability to stream high quality audio from any device (such as home theater receiver, speaker etc.) ….anywhere in your home!

I was excited to give the units a try, as soon as they arrived from Best Buy. The setup, along with downloading the Google Home app, took less than 5 minutes. Google Home automatically recognizes the device once it is powered on.  From there, you simply fill in your Wi-Fi credentials, give it a name and begin streaming audio that has better clarity than Bluetooth, as Wi-Fi produces crystal clear hi res sound. Th hardest part was remembering our Wi-Fi password!

Although iTunes and Amazon Music isn’t supported, this is only the slightest inconvenience since, as you can see above,  there are so many other apps to choose from!
