The Roosevelt, New Orleans, LA

Staying at The Roosevelt in New Orleans, during the Niche Mommy Network Conference, was a wonderful experience.  The hotel was absolutely beautiful, the service was awesome, and the food was beyond description! If you should ever decide to visit the Big Easy, I would highly recommend looking into staying at The Roosevelt.

A great deal of time and money was spent restoring the hotel after hurricane Katrina, and the time and money couldn’t have been more well spent. Walking in through the doors will absolutely take your breath away.  It is spectacular.  From the mosaic tile floors to the sparkling chandeliers, it’s like being transferred into another era.

Our room was large and spacious, with so many lovely touches.

Luxurious towels and linens. A big closet and fabulous bathroom!

And the SPA…..

Oh yes – the spa…I spent a blissful hour, “Merci Mariah…votre bébé peut être en bonne santé”, getting a pedicure at the Guerlain Spa. Heavenly!

Surpassing all of the above, was the SERVICE.  I have never been treated so well.

Every single employee treated Gabe and me like royalty. They bent over backward to make sure that we had everything that we needed, the exact moment that we needed it.  Checking to see if we needed help finding our way, rushing to open doors for us, offering  extras at every opportunity.

(A great big shout out to Renee, who offered to get Gabe water and a dish – even asking if he would like ice – during one of the luncheons.  I wish that I had paid attention to the names of the other employees  – they were all so accommodating.  Offering to carry plates and drinks to my table or to move chairs, and to get me sodas, since I don’t drink coffee or tea.)

Beautiful surroundings, wonderful food, fabulous service – AND – yes it’s affordable!
