Here is my Nutrisystem Week 6 Report!
I’m feeling a bit frustrated. I stepped on the scale yesterday and got a whopping slap up side the head. I had gained 4 pounds!
I was in shock, so I stepped on the darn thing again, in hopes that I hadn’t really seen those numbers, and woosh – my weight was the same as last week. Hmmmm I tried stepping on again, and again and again, and each time I got a different result. I think that my scale needs new batteries, or maybe I just need a new scale, period.
I’m leaning towards thinking that I’ve hit a plateau and that I need to “ramp thing up” a bit. I’ve gotten in a rut. Carrot sticks, celery sticks and grape tomatoes have become my go to foods, and I need to add some more variety to my plate. I’m not a rabbit, so why the heck am I just eating rabbit food? I don’t know, maybe it’s just the summer blahs. I don’t feel like cooking.
Thankfully, my Nutrisystem meals are so very easy to prepare.
OMGOSH – I tried the new Chicken & Bacon Ranch Pizza. It was sooooooooooooooo good. I think that I could eat one for every meal. I wish that I had remembered to take a picture of it, but I wolfed it down before I thought about it. I’m also partial to the Steak and Cheese Melt. It’s really filling! So is the Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin, and the Hamburger, and the Loaded Baked Potato…OK, I think you get the picture.
I do want to mention the support that I’ve been getting from Nutrisystem. My counselor, Bridget is the best. I know that I can contact her for questions, concerns, or just a listening ear. THANKS BRIDGET!
So, who knows if I lost, gained or stayed the same this week. I do know that I’m taking steps to lose weight and get healthier. I think for now, that’s quite enough. And before signing off for this week, here’s what on my plate for dinner tonight!
If you need to lose weight, check into Nutrisystem, and see what they can do for you.
I think that’s the hardest part of trying to lose weight — when you’ve hit a plateau. It’s easy to lose a few pounds on the first few weeks because of the change in diet plus the new exercise routine. But when our bodies learn to adjust to the changes, it’s when we know we need to change something just to tweak to routine a bit. But at least you know you’re doing something right cause you’re eating healthy Nutrisystem meals. 🙂
Hate broken scales. Mine needs batteries but then I will have to see how much I have really put back on. I have wondered how these meals tasted so it is nice to read you like them. Love the photo that does look yummy.
