8 Smart Tips to Help You Organize Your Dream Wedding

Many couples want their weddings to be a memorable event for their guests. They might picture their guests talking about the day long after it’s over, reminiscing fondly about how amazing it was. However, the truth is that it’s the couple that’s going to be doing this more than anyone else. For the guests, many weddings are similar and, although it’s great to see people they love get married and celebrate with them, they won’t be raving about how incredible it was to everyone they know. But that doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy it, and the happy couple can still definitely make sure it’s special day that no one will forget.

Choose Interesting Entertainment

The question of whether to provide entertainment can be a tough one to answer and might depend on your budget. Most wedding receptions will have music so that guests can dance, but how far should you go to make sure your guests are entertained? A DJ is a common choice, but you could also choose something that stands out more. Live entertainment like a band or even dueling piano players can be much more memorable. You can also think about how to make your entertainment more interactive. You could have games for guests to play or even a quiz to get everyone engaged.

To keep guests entertained at bar/bat mitzvahs and weddings, skilled live bands for special events should have a diverse repertoire, deliver clear sound, interact positively with the crowd, and be versatile enough to play music in multiple genres

Serve Good Food

If there’s one thing that makes a big difference to how successful a wedding is, it’s the food. It’s one of the main things guests will remember about a wedding, whether the food was good, bad or just average. There are many options for delicious culinary dishes that can be considered. You can enjoy the skill of a chef from a prestigious restaurant or order a delicious buffet with a variety of desserts and drinks. But if you decide to celebrate your wedding on the street, then you have the opportunity to surprise your guests by offering food truck services. In this case, a van with food for catering could be a good choice. Food trucks catering for events in Tampa may not follow the traditional approach to wedding catering. Yet, they offer a distinct experience that will leave a lasting impression on your guests, making it unforgettable.  Serving really good food or choosing an interesting approach will help your wedding to stand out. This could mean just making sure you choose something outside of some of the standard menu options or ensuring your food is really good quality. You could also consider a fun concept like having food trucks or something guests can assemble themselves, like tacos.

Let Guests Design the Party

Your wedding reception might be to celebrate your wedding, but your guests are also there to have fun. Allowing them some say in what happens ensures they will have a good time. Of course, you don’t have to hand over the reins to them completely, but you can let them make some small choices. For example, you could take song requests before the day so that you can create a playlist or give them to your DJ or band. Offering plenty of choice when it comes to food, and catering for all of your guests’ requirements, is a good idea too.

Add Some Little Touches

Sometimes it’s the little things that count. Adding some small touches to your wedding reception can make it more memorable and more fun. You might give all of your guests a party bag to take home with a piece of cake and a couple of fun wedding favors. Everyone might have a fun game to play on their table or you could offer a way for them to make their own cocktails or add fun things to prosecco or champagne.

  • I won’t lie, I’m glad I got married in a court house. I don’t think I would have wanted to deal with all the details. Plus all that money spent on one day? I’d rather take a fancy vacation. However, we still had a memorable day. It might have helped that I was knocked up and my stomach was way out there, ha.
