When you send a man to the store without a list…
So, we are in the area hit by Tropical Storm Lee.
During a lull in the rain yesterday,
I ask my husband if he wants
to run up to our local grocery store,
to pick up a few things.
We tend to have a
if a hummingbird so much as sneezes!
So, I thought that it would be good to have some
easy to fix things, on hand.
I didn’t give the man a list, I just said,
pick up some “comfort food”
and PLEASE bring me some Coke.
I’m thinking the he will grab some cheese, crackers,
peanut butter, cans of soup, apples,
and maybe a bag of cookies.
Here is what he came home with:
3 boxes of store brand frosted mini wheat cereal
1 bag of Zapps Potato Chips
1 jar of roasted peanuts
2 containers of Greek Yogurt
1 can of whipped cream

1 gallon of skim milk
I pkg. of liver cheese
(ok – I could have done without that)
1 bag of Almond Joy pieces
I box of Blue Bunny Sundae Cones
1 box of Choco Tacos
1 8-pk bottles of Coke
1 Dozen Yellow Roses
(He said that they made up for the
gloomy weather outside…
he also said that I have a cute butt.
I guess it’s true – love is blind.)
AND
He ran by the vets and picked up a 40lb. bag of dog food.

that man of mine!
Dang, I would have thought of the flowers, but wouldn't have thought of the whipped cream. Very interesting!
