Hysterically Funny or Seriously Disturbing?

Just Plain FUNNY!

I’ve had three of my grandchildren living with me since early October.  The middle child is my grand daughter “Thunderbolt”.  She is one of a kind. A few days ago she was playing in my closet.  Later that day, I went in to hang up some clothes…and found this!

She just stuck her up there, so that she wasn’t on the floor.  LOL = she didn’t want to get dog hair on her!

There’s never a dull moment around here:-)

  • I,m not usre which would describe it. You have to ask your granddaughter why she tied the pony in the closet.

  • I think it is one of those things that is innocent in a childs eyes but knowing what we know as we grow up becomes more disturbing. But I def would ask because to often a childs innocence can be corrupted

  • I think it would depend on her age. A younger child would do something like that without thought just because they fit but if they are over 5 I might have questioned them about it.

  • I’d ask what happened to the pony….then go from there.
Maybe it was kidnapped and tied up and waiting to be rescued? (Happens in cartoons all the time so something she might copy.)
Also depends on the kids age. Is she young enough that it is just mimicry or is she old enough that maybe she was just hanging out it the closet fiddling with the pony and the dresser? (Have 8yr old twins that do mimicry and do random things. Not bad things just one minute sitting behaving, the next minute they’ve tied the toys in knots for no reason.)

  • Ok, on so many levels, I should find this disturbing. But I find it absolutely hysterically funny.

  • Looks pretty disturbing to me. You might want to ask her why she did that.

  • LOL I think its funny. I honestly think there was no strange intentions involved. Children just have a huge imagination.

  • Oh my goodness, why are people turning this into something dirty? My daughter likes to tie everything up into knots. She saw something there to tie her horse to and went for it. There is nothing dirty here. Take your icky thoughts elsewhere, please.

  • This looks odd and very peculiar place to put your toy. My question is why did she not just put it on the dresser instead of tying the pony up!

  • I’m just glad you didn’t find a crop nearby. (Yeah, I went there)…lol.

  • Not quite sure which it is either, but I can sure see my “tornado” 5 year-old niece doing something like this just to be able to scratch its belly better!

  • Hi there would you mind letting me know which hosting company you’re utilizing? I’ve loaded your blog in 3 completely different web browsers and I must
say this blog loads a lot quicker then most. Can you suggest a good web hosting provider at
a fair price? Many thanks, I appreciate it!

  • I think that is funny, she wanted to make grandma smile. 😉

  • I would say funny only b/c I can picture my boys doing something like that. It’s amazing what “creative” things a child will do. Maybe she can have a place that’s dog hair free for it to avoid anyone questioning her treatment of animals(I’m sure she loves them well).
